  Opportunities
The First Tee has several scholarship opportunities for participants in the Life Skills and Leadership program. As participants reach levels of certification, they are eligible to apply for the these opportunities. We hope that many participants in The First Tee of Greater Seattle will benefit from these opportunities. For more information on national scholarships, click here

Each year, The First Tee Scholars Program recognizes First Tee participants from across the country for their excellent character and outstanding leadership and performance in the classroom. These participants receive national recognition and qualify for college scholarships at First Tee Universities.

  Evans Scholarship for Caddies

Have you caddied or had an interest in caddying? If so, you may be just a few caddy loops away from a FULL scholarship covering room and board at the University of Washington!

The Evans Scholars Foundation offers a unique scholarship opportunity to junior golfers, awarding full-ride scholarships to dedicated caddies attending designated Evans Scholars schools. As a scholar, you could receive scholarship worth nearly $60,000 to support your time as a UW Huskie. To qualify you must have and maintain a strong academic record, perform community service, respect your fellow scholars and faithfully perform assigned housework at the Evan Scholars dorm on campus.


  Seattle Participant Wins $10,000 Scholarship
Seattle participant, Matt Lemke, received national recognition as the RBS Achiever of the Year and one a $10,000 scholarship for exemplifying The First Tee Nine Core Values. Congratulations to Matt!

PACE Resource Center

The First Tee PACE (Providing Assistance for Careers and Education) Resource Center was created to equip eligible participants (ages 13-18) and their parents with information and resources to learn more about applying for college, college scholarships, and career exploration.
